Tuna Crunch Salad, Vintage advertisment for Star-Kist Tuna with Maureen O'hara

Maureen O'Hara was a popular actress back in the late 1940's and 50's, she graced the silver screen in movies such as the "Quiet Man" and "Miracle on 34Th Street".  This vintage recipe advertisement played off her then recent movie, "Sons of the Musketeers" dating the advertisement to 1952. From the "Guarantee" on the page one would take a guess this was in the Good House Keeping magazine at the time. I love these old ads.

Star-Kist tuna, which is still a household name, gets some crunch to a pretty typical creamy tuna salad with the addition of crisp cabbage and potato chips to give it some crunch.
