Tangle challenge day 6
Today's challenge is to draw a wavy graph and choose only 3 patterns. Fill in all the spots with only those patterns. Happy drawing!

Butterflies are amazing blank canvases. Colors and designs are as adaptable a a blank sheet of paper. Here a couple of pretty little butterflies come alive with the simple yet powerful ripple effect. Draw some little buggies of your own and share with the class!

Tangle challenge day 4!
Try a study of change for day 4 challenge. See how one simple outline can look so diffrent by being filled in diffrently or with colors. Draw an outline that is nice bit plain. Photo copy it and play around changing the base picture. Here we have the original, a black and white, a contrasting color study and a companion color theme (here is fall colors).

Tangle day 3!
This is a project that I think a few may remember doing back in school. As a homeschooling mama I do things like this with the kids and in fact as this was on our schedule it seemed like perfect timing. Now for our class work we used our names but of course for this I used another important word to me .. lol (I may have a problem but it's a good one!) It's pretty simple. Draw a shape, write a word in it making sure to fill the whole shape with the letters touching the boarders. Then start filling in the spaces made by the letters. Before you know it you're done! Now shading hasn't been done on this but to add depth shade away!
Tangle challenge day 2
Connected circles. Let's see what everyone can do with connected or over lapping circles. Here I used 3 circles. I started with a centered circle, then slightly overlapped 2 more overlapping it like below. Then away I tangled! Try the below starting point or more or less circles.

Tangle a day challenge!
Let's see what we can do! For the next couple weeks I will post a Zentangle I have done with a challenge to see who can use the same pattern or layout or theme in different ways. So post your versions in the comments! Today we start with a base outline turned into something completely different. This lovely started out as a profile, in a simple cartoon type fashion . From there a few feathers on "eyelashes" became a whole bird. So now draw your own simple profile and away you go! I forgot to snap a picture when I started But this is the basic outline I drew to begin.
