Honey Taffy, vintage candy recipe, Halloween, Christmas

I have been reading the Little House on the Prairie series with my youngest as part of our homeschooling.  In the books they bring up taffy pulls several times of various types. I was searching around for a recipe that may have been used at or around this time and received this one copied from a church or grange book, the cover is missing so I'm not sure which or when printed, but the title page states they are recipes from the year of establishment 1878, so close enough in my book. Now to build up the courage to try out a recipe like this.

Buy them today! Do you ever go into the big fancy Stores and smell all the perfumes and fragrances and then just about pass out from the prices?  I used to, then I realized I could buy comparable scents at a fraction of the cost from Avon. Then I realized they had others that were far, far better then those on the shelves. This was all about a year or two before I started selling Avon by the way.  Here is a list of fragrances that I put together. I spoke to a few people I know and asked them to tell me what my Avon scents would compare to because I seriously couldn't do this on my own and everyone has a slightly different take so I wanted to have a survey so to say about it.  SO take a look at the list and see if any of them just might be what you are looking for! Lipstick samples!!! Ok almost every little girl loved when the Avon lady brought out the adorable little samples of lipstick. "Just my size" .  I still see that glow when my samples come out.
