Top 4 ways to Turn your Searches into Cash!

We all do it. We jump on the computer and search for things all the time. Quotes, products, services or even  just the usual places we go like Facebook or Pinterest. What many people don't know is that they are losing money every time they do! There are companies out there that will pay you to use their search engines!
How do you get paid and why? Well the why is easy. These companies keep track of what people search and use it to create data bases for other companies about online trends. Much like Facebook does to track and then show you posts and advertisements you would like based off the other posts you have clicked. Except with these you get paid.

The how varies by company. Most pay either with Paypal or more often gift cards that you choose. A few will actually send you a check to cash. I prefer the gift cards. I have used them as gifts, purchased food and bought a few restaurant cards for trips or just to have a night out. I have also saved them up and used for Christmas.

These are my top 4 site that I earn from regularly.  I have tried others and either they don't pay well or it's impossible to earn up enough for a pay out. Now a couple of these rotate their way of payment or what gift cards they have at any given time. Some also offer to donate the earnings to various charities that you can choose from.

1. Mypoints is a great site I have used for over 10 years now. You earn points that you can redeem for gift cards and they have plenty of them to pick from. You can earn points for searches, purchases, emails, referrals and surveys.  It helps feed my Amazon addiction as well as my family as I often get restaurant cards.

2. Inboxdollars works much like Mypoints. You can earn once a day for a certain amount of searches though so use this first and move onto the next one. Again shopping, emails etc. earn cash,  referrals earn rewards and once you hit $30 you can cash out. There are more payment options from this site then most including good old paper checks.

3. Bing is a search engine you can make your main page. Once signed in every time you type something in you are earning points. Again points can be used to do sweepstakes through Microsoft who runs the rewards or as gift cards. There are some fun little quizzes each day to earn points. No limit to searches you can do. This one does rotate gift cards so I usually wait for the ones I want to come back and then cash out.

4. Swagbucks is a pretty good one as well with bonus points posted often to Facebook. As you search random codes will come up, you enter these to earn points. Again there is shopping and video watching as well to boost points earned or in this case they are called swagbucks. This too is a site where referrals earn rewards.  A healthy amount of payout options come with this site as well.
