Sour Cream Caper Sauce for Seafood, vegetables or eggs, vinatge condiment recipe

A nice halibut fillet poached and slathered in this tasty sauce. I haven't had it in a very long time, long enough to have forgotten about it. Then while searching through my grandmother's cookbooks for a recipe this little paper slipped out and all these memories came right on out.  I remember it also being used instead of hollandaise sauce on eggs benedict.   My mother did not make it often and I really cannot remember the last time she did, probably years before she passed. In the least years since I had had it.
