Avon has been around for over 130 years now.  That means there are a lot of memories made with their products. Some of the greats are still here of coarse but seasonal and character products as well as those that just fell out of style have been discontinued for many years. I am going to do a series of blog posts giving memorial to some of our past products much loved and not forgotten as well as some vintage advertising!
Let the memories begin here with Avon's cream sachet. The start of layering scents Avon introduced this product in the spring of 1962.

Buy them today! Do you ever go into the big fancy Stores and smell all the perfumes and fragrances and then just about pass out from the prices?  I used to, then I realized I could buy comparable scents at a fraction of the cost from Avon. Then I realized they had others that were far, far better then those on the shelves. This was all about a year or two before I started selling Avon by the way.  Here is a list of fragrances that I put together. I spoke to a few people I know and asked them to tell me what my Avon scents would compare to because I seriously couldn't do this on my own and everyone has a slightly different take so I wanted to have a survey so to say about it.  SO take a look at the list and see if any of them just might be what you are looking for! Lipstick samples!!! Ok almost every little girl loved when the Avon lady brought out the adorable little samples of lipstick. "Just my size" .  I still see that glow when my samples come out.
