Fudge 2 ways, Vintage candy recipes chocolate with or without nuts?
Where I grew up we all knew about fudge. Ate it here or there but it wasn't the most popular of desserts or candies. Then I moved into Pennsylvania and all that changed. Everyone had a family recipe, everyone had a favorite. The fairs and carnivals had fudge stands, the church tables had so and so's fudge that everyone just had to have! A vintage church cookbook owned by a friend had this page with 2 of many recipes. They were quite different and interesting to compare.
These two recipes bring up a heated debate in the fudge world. Nuts or no nuts? Cast your vote in the comments!
