Sour Milk Cookies, Frugal Friday Recipe

Today if milk goes sour there is no thought to saving it at all.  Just a generation or two ago the thought of dumping that milk down the drain was unheard of. Be it used in the kitchen or in the least fed to the hogs it was used and not wasted at all. Today's recipe is a prime example of turning sour milk into a childhood delight, a memory, a flavor lost to the modern society that I hope will come back with the sharing of this recipe.



I know there are a few ingredients here that are not so popular now a days. Lard is making a bit of a come back though. I know we love using it.

Buy them today! Do you ever go into the big fancy Stores and smell all the perfumes and fragrances and then just about pass out from the prices?  I used to, then I realized I could buy comparable scents at a fraction of the cost from Avon. Then I realized they had others that were far, far better then those on the shelves. This was all about a year or two before I started selling Avon by the way.  Here is a list of fragrances that I put together. I spoke to a few people I know and asked them to tell me what my Avon scents would compare to because I seriously couldn't do this on my own and everyone has a slightly different take so I wanted to have a survey so to say about it.  SO take a look at the list and see if any of them just might be what you are looking for!
