New Years tradtional Pork and Kraut, vintage recipe
In North Eastern Pennsylvania it is traditional to eat Pork and sauerkraut on New Year's eve. I grew up in a part of NJ and had never heard of this but was happy to adopt the tradition. Now some people do a pork roast, some sausages or meatballs and then I found this. I love ribs are in my top 10 favorites so this will be made this year and I love that sweet element of the apple.
