Baked Lima-bean and pear Casserole, vintage side dish recipe
When harvest time comes it is a time of plenty. The trees are dropping fruit, the vines are bountiful and in the past recipes to use up this overload of fresh ingredients often found pairings that were quit unique. This one is a great example of that!.
This recipe calls for dried Lima beans but you can easily skip this step with defrosted, frozen lima beans.
