Spicy Glazed Corned Beef

It's not just for St. Patrick's day! For most of the country it seems that corned beef is only eaten on that holiday or in a Ruben and that's' about it. Sometimes it's found in hash and served with eggs but that's about it. One most certainly does not hear about it being cooked over a grill or fire!

The recipe is obviously from the 1960's because I don't know any other time period that used MSG in the home. I just ignore that ingredient all together. It's not good for you or important.

Corned beef is best when sliced very thin so often it is best to let it cool and then slice. We have a deli slicer and use that here in our home for perfectly sliced meat.
