Smoked Beef Bacon Recipe, Keto dieters will love this


So what do you do when you split a cow with a couple families and bring home a few hundred pounds of beef?
You get creative!
One piece of brisket we got was thick with that grasses fed fat that keto dieters appreciate. So we decided to turn that lovely cut into a slab of beef bacon. We have a smoker that we love and abuse with use so this was a natural way for us to go.

First we marinated the meat for 3 days (it was going to be over night but, well rain happened) in V8 spicy. We had it on hand and well, we use what we have. It was the correct choice by far! 

Smoking. We loaded up the smoker with hickory chips and kept it at a moderate heat (90-100° f) and smoked for 8 hours. 
Let it rest before wrapping well and keeping in refrigerator or freezing for later use. 
Cook this just like any other bacon!
