Recipe of the day 12/24/16 ~ Eggnog



A holiday favorite! Once Halloween is over the eggnog comes out on store shelves and though tasty it's really no where near as good as a homemade batch of the thick and creamy treat.  Now for many who are worried about egg germs, egg substitutes from the store work just as well as the real thing so don't shy away because of that. If you still need it thicker use 3/4 the amount of milk and the last 1/4 use a stiff whipped cream to thicken things up a bit.
