Easy to make Basic Pastry for Multi Use, vintage hand written baking recipe
I thought just before Thanksgiving an all purpose pastry dough would be helpful for everyone. Easy to make with simple ingredients and directions this dough can be rolled out for pies and tarts or rolled and pressed for cookies. This looks like a good one to use with wooden Springerle rolling pins. The light lemon flavor would go wonderfully with fruit pies bringing in a fresh citrus to the heavy sweetness of most fillings.
