Those of us who have teenage daughters, nieces or granddaughters know how quickly likes, dislikes and fads can come and go. The chameleons change groups and styles on what seems like a weekly basis at some points. It can be hard to keep up. This ever rotating ball of madness also makes it hard to shop for these little divas. There are some basics though that Avon carries that on the most part make every girl happy. See though the outer looks change the basis of teenage girls' needs are basically the same. I have found with my own young ladies, nieces and various friends that these gifts either spate or combined work for everything from birthdays and holidays to jobs well done and "I'm sorry that boy broke your heart".
1. The make up pallet. Here is why this is one of my favorites, it has many colors. Follow me on this. Each new phase in a teenage girls life corresponds with a make up color pallet change. The multi colored eye shadows and lip sticks are perfect for any style none to mind the quick turn abouts. No problem going from prep to goth to glam with these pallets!
2. The bath gift set. You see them all over the department stores and it's because despite the cliché of them people like getting bath stuff. teenage girls especially on the younger side love to get them because it is a transition from the little girl gifts to more sophisticated presents while still being able to hang on to those fun bright colors and fruity sweet smells! Not to mention something in the teenage girls' mind goes crazy for body spray. Don't ask me why but they LOVE body sprays!
3. Now this one won't be available until mid November 2015 but it is well worth the wait. I got my hands on one and an all out war between sisters started in my house and ended with their friend running off with the set of them..lol yes my teenagers went ga-ga for this one. It is a lens attachment kit for their phones! Yes new views for selfies and band pictures from 20 rows away! A simple velvet bag with two lenses and a clip became the rage in about two seconds once they realized what they were. In fact the lot of them have a list of about 6 others they will be purchasing the kits for. So anyone with a phone holding, picture taking chick this is the one for you!
4. Nothing screams being "grown up" to a teenage girl like perfume. They bath in the stuff so this can be a touchy gift for some parents. Avon has and has always had amazingly well priced sets for the holidays and through out the year. The sets can range from an elite perfume and body lotion to full 5 piece sets that include moisturizers, powders and deodorants. (can be the hint some kids may need, not to be mean but we all know that one kid) The one pictured here has been the scent of choice for young women for generations and in some families has become a tradition. 5. Nail polish or any of our awesome mani/pedi products are a great option. Buy a couple nail colors, the
nail dryer and the
crystals to adorn said nails and your teenager will be in her glory. One of the easiest and least harmful ways for teenage girls to express themselves nail art is popular in pretty much any age group and is a great option!
6. Along with the pallet set we also have a whole eye make set that is great for the make up newbie
who doesn't have much stuff. The 7 piece set has professional tools as well as mascara, eye brow and liner. Basic colors that al styles use make it a great choice when your just not sure.
7. Now this may seem weird but a lovely warm blanket to cuddle up in is a women's best friend and teenagers are not left out of this category. They are needed for warmth, scary movies, sleepovers and break ups. A good blanket just can't be wrong! We have several different styles from characters to classical knits.
8. Lip gloss. What can I say other then girls = lip gloss. Whether it's the shine, glitter, or flavor everyone just feels more confident with a little gloss. We have the glazewear line which we are best known for but also some
Lip balms are available as well!
9. Jewelry is for any woman a great go to and our bracelets and watches will not let your teenager down. Sterling silver necklaces and earrings always make a lovely gift.
10. Every teen is still a tiny bit a little girl and Snoopy here is sure to delight! He's big, soft and plays music! We also have some bears and a few other stuffed wonders but I can honestly say that the Snoopy that entered our home was set upon in seconds of opening my order!
Each teenager is of coarse their own person but there are a few things that won't fail you and
