Gifts for Teacher That cost $10 and under
We all appreciate what teachers do for us and the teachers love being appreciated. Unfortunately not all of us can afford to show them with big flashy gifts. That's ok, the thought that counts is enough and if you can stretch that budget and give them nice gifts, do it! This is quick list of some awesome gifts to give your kids, or your, teachers.
1. Bath items. Now this is a double sided coin. I have taught in schools, working with all types of teachers and half of them love getting lotions and bath gels while the other half hates it. So if you have a teacher that you think will like this sort of thing hop on over and buy a set. Put it in a gift bag or wrap it up in a basket either way, and a little ribbon always dresses up the gift!
2. Is your teacher known for baking and bringing in cookies? How about some Cookie stamps or cutters? Bakers love the little gadgets and what-nots but often don't buy them for themselves.
3. Gift certificates for restaurants. Now I know your going "but $10 is a cheap gift card", but that is the beauty of sites like Restaurant.com where you can get full certificates at a cheaper rate. For instance my favorite gyro place has a $15 certificate for $6 or a $30 for $10 right now. Print them off on nice paper or card stock.
4. Lottery tickets. Jump on Pinterest for a million and one ways to give lottery tickets. I personally like the version where the tickets are put in little stocking. The fun is in the game and if they win some cash even better!
5. Interestingly different items are always great. Unique soup bowls, adult coloring books or even light covers with a Star Wars theme! Try to fit the teacher's personality!
We never can thank our kids teachers enough for what they do but these little things can be given without breaking the bank!
