Gluten free Chocolate Ginger Donuts, easy recipe
Gluten Free Chocolate ginger Donuts |
Gluten free has a bad rap, because usually it is dry and tastes a little different from the norm, not quite as light as flour based desserts very dense. This little recipe is very easy to make and eliminates some of those complaints right off the bat. Full of flavor and fluffy these will help dispel the myth that gluten free is gross...lol Family tested and approved. In fact can't stop the gluten eaters from eating them too!
Ingredients:
1 box gluten free chocolate cake mix
1 cup ginger ale
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp fresh ginger paste or 1/4 tsp dry ginger
3 eggs
Icing ingredients:
1/2 c confectioners sugar
2 tsp ginger ale
Need also:
a donut pan for oven or you can use in cake or cupcake form as well.
Mix all cake ingredients minus ginger ale, together. Gently stir in the ginger ale last yet and spoon into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes. Let cool. Mix sugar and ginger ale together until smooth and either spoon over donuts or dip them. Then enjoy!
