 The best way to keep your leather shoes looking fresh and beautiful is regular up keep. Leather after all is skin and just like the skin on our bodies it needs to be kept hydrated to stay looking good.  In the before picture you can see that this work boot is  getting a little dry and scuffed. A rag and just a very small amount of Avon's Skin So Soft Original Bath oil and back to life the boot has come! Mind you these are my boots worn anytime I am in the woods, everyday in cold and chilly weather as well as rainy or other bad weather days. Pretty much all the time and they are 4 years old. They look good still because I do this once a month or so (Ok I forget sometimes)  to keep them looking wonderful.  This little trick works also on jackets, coats, bags and chaps. Do you ever go into the big fancy Stores and smell all the perfumes and fragrances and then just about pass out from the prices?  I used to, then I realized I could buy comparable scents at a fraction of the cost from Avon. Then I realized they had others that were far, far better then those on the shelves. Scrapple or Pannhaas recipe

Scrapple might be a new food for those outside of Eastern Pennsylvania. A Philly staple this breakfast meat is formed into loaves then sliced thin and fried crisp to serve. It is often the meaty side dish but is delish on sandwiches as well!  In our house it is usually very thinly sliced ( I give it a little freeze to slice easier)  and topped with scrambled eggs.
